The fine material porcelain has been greatly fascinating to people for centuries.
This research project resulted in a range of porcelain objects and vessels with varying densities, which arose by using textiles of different densities and consistencies. If a very fine cloth was used for the base, dipped into the liquid porcelain and then fired, a very thin-walled and delicate vessel was created. Through a more rough fabric, such as jute, a higher stability was achieved.
